Silent Lake WALK-In WINTER CAMPING – Part 2 – Perogies, Puppets & Pouring Rain

I have always wanted to camp on a walk-in site at Silent Lake with the hot tent. It’s something I’ve never done. As my birthday was near, I asked a friend to join in the fun and we had a blast. There were interesting snowshoe treks around the park, delicious food, yummy drinks, games and even a puppet show. We arrived in the minus teens and sunshine, and headed out in the rain in the single digits. It was a bit challenging, but that’s something I also enjoy.
