“Lake Jessup is one of the largest lakes in Central Florida and is home to a countless wide variety of wildlife species,” says Smith. “On this particular day, I happened to be in the Lake Jessup area and was privileged to witness a tri-colored heron slowly proceed to take a bath. The initial steps were leisurely taken, but the more it dipped into the water, the more invigorated were its actions with a whirlwind of sprayed water flying in many directions.”
