Winner: “Looking Down From Mont Blanc” By James Day

“I took this photograph while vacationing in the French and Swiss Alps on September 4, 2019,” explains Day. “This view was looking down from the peak of Mont Blanc towards Chamonix, France, below. Europe, including the Alps, was experiencing a heatwave at the time. Temperatures were in the 80s at the base, and on the mountain, it was around 20 degrees Fahrenheit.”

Olympus EM1 Mark III, Olympus 12-100mm f/4 lens. Exposure: 1/125 sec., f/11, ISO 200.
